How a typical lesson works

We hook up using Skype or facetime, whichever platform you prefer.

You tell us the tune, riff or solo that you wish to learn and we will break it down for you, help you write it out in an easy to understand way (harmonica tabs) and then work with you whilst you learn to play each part of the piece. We play a passage, you play it back, we feedback and advise and then we repeat the process again until you have it completely within your grasp and feel comfortable playing your chosen piece of music. At every step of the way we will offer advice on all aspects of the piece helping you to overcome barriers and really bring it to life with tone and expression.

Where appropriate we will use backing tracks for us both to play along to or even refer directly to specific original artist recordings which can also be useful when developing techniques such as timing,breathing and phrasing.

The lesson will be relaxed and will be delivered at your pace with absolutely no pressure.

Our Rates

We have found that an hour is a good length of time for a harmonica lesson and we charge £20 per hour. Some customers prefer a shorter lesson and so we also offer a half hour lesson for £10

Some even prefer longer sessions and thats fine too, whatever works for you.

Our research suggests that our rates are up to half the cost of other online harmonica lesson providers.
